The Way Of Circular Energy

Seikido is a martial art where partners use dodging instead of blocking to break an attack. The techniques used allow rediscovering the body/mind/movement union in absolute security. Energy (KI) can be channeled and flows in harmony with the laws and the order of the universe.

SEIKIDO's educative mission takes shape as a methodological teaching suited for kids as well as for adults. SEIKIDO continues its work by giving the individual the possibility to persue his or her own spiritual and philosophical quest.

The awakening of the body added to a deeper knowledge of one's own being leads to self confidence, self respect and the respect of others.

Learning about these virtues, wich are essential to a balanced and positive development of one's personality, constitutes the educational contribution of the teaching of the Art of SEIKIDO.

SEIKIDO consists of six distinctive schools:
  • Seikido Karate, for those in search of performance and competition.

  • Seikido Showa or Seikido Harmony, which is a modern and ever evolving Karate and as much a personal quest as a way to fight.

  • Seiki-Jutsu which incorporates modern day self defense techniques.

  • Seiki-Taiso, a gymnastic way of harmonizing energies through choroegraphed movements.

  • Seikido Iaido. The art of drawing the sword and strike in one single move bursting from the inner beeing. The Way of the sword is a total combat, in the instant, against oneself.

  • Seikido Soto Zen which is a study of Zen meditation techniques. Search for true and profound silence without purpose nor spirit of profit.
